Delivery

Delivery times depend on the manufacturer and product. Many of our products can be delivered the next day. We will confirm delivery details with you during the order process.

If you need a shorter delivery, or a guaranteed delivery time, contact our sales office on 0800 600 8740 as there may be alternative delivery options available.

Standard deliveries are made to the ground floor, outside and as near as possible to the delivery premises. If you have any special requirements, or if there are any restrictions at the delivery address, such as pedestrianised zones, you need to inform us when you place the order.

Deliveries are generally made between 8.30am and 6pm on a normal working day.

Deliveries are free of charge except where explicitly stated on the product page on the website. Deliveries to the islands, highlands and remote areas will be subject to an additional charge. You will be notified of the charge once we have received the order. Contact our sales office on 0800 600 8740 to confirm the charge before ordering.

It is the customer’s responsibility to inspect the goods immediately, sign the delivery note accordingly and inform us immediately if there is any damage or missing items.

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that someone is available to accept delivery of the goods. It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the goods will fit the delivery premises and to check the dimensions of the delivery address for access, including all doors, corridors, stairs and corners. If the goods cannot be delivered the customer may be charged a re-delivery fee.

Returns and cancellation

All returns require prior written authorisation from UK Catering. The company must be notified of any cancellation within 7 working days of receipt of the goods. No cancellation can be made after this time. 

Returns can be subject to a restocking charge of up to 50% of the price of the goods. The costs of any return must be borne by the customer. 

A separate £25 charge will be charged to cover the administrative and card handling costs of issuing a refund. No administration charge will be made to issue a credit for another purchase.

Purchases cancelled before dispatch of the goods will be charged an administration fee.

Non-stock or bespoke products are non-returnable.
